BR GEI, a manufacturer of industrial lubricants owned by BR Distribuidora, is located in Campos Elíseos, Duque de Caxias, close to Reduc. It is responsible for the production of the main lubricating oils marketed by BR, producing renowned oils such as Lubrax.
In order to increase the safety and reliability of the process, BR GEI acquired a level measurement system manufactured by Rosemount TankRadar. The first order for this type of application in Brazil, the system consists of 14 REX line radar level gauges, temperature gauges and local indicators. The Duque de Caxias Refinery, in turn, will use the same measuring instruments, which will allow a direct comparison between the inventories of the two units, reducing errors and facilitating the management of the operation.
