Flow increases production and invests in new industrial facilities

Per Hideo Hama

Fluxo Soluções Integradas, which turned 30 in 2019, is already following the first steps of the economic recovery in the country. Since the beginning of the year, its back log has grown by 200% in relation to the previous year, in order to be able to fully resume the supply of integrated skids packages for its Engineering & Systems area in 250%.

There are dozens of skids in the production and testing phase by Fluxo: loading and unloading systems for terminals; fiscal measurement systems for liquids and gases; filtration, pressure reduction and measurement systems for thermoelectric plants; chemical injection systems; vapor recovery and burning systems for terminals. Several new contracts to supply these and other solutions in its portfolio made its industrial facilities operate at full capacity, which encouraged Fluxo to invest in a new headquarters for its industrial area.

new installations

Fluxo's new industrial facilities are located in the same municipality as the previous warehouse, in Santana do Parnaíba, on a 5,500 m plot of land.2. The new space comprises two industrial warehouses with a total area of 2.5 thousand m2,with a width of 20 meters and a ceiling height of 12.5 meters, which are added to the other office areas, an area for dining and leisure, parking for 19 cars, three external access gates measuring 6.0m high and 6, 0 m wide, plus facilities for training and seminars.

The forecast is to have two overhead cranes with a capacity of 10 tons each, with the first being installed immediately. The move to the new headquarters is scheduled to be completed in mid-December, but the premises have been partially used since early November.

The new industrial facilities will be used to integrate the systems produced and carry out factory tests. The services of metallic constructions and boilermaking will be under the responsibility of partners, since Fluxo has the support of 5 companies specialized in metallic constructions, including stainless steel and alloys. All of them are certified and approved for performance following API, ASME, and other standards required in specific manufactures.

Flow's other plan for the new headquarters is to install the support area for the after sales of Masoneilan and Consolidated products, in agreement with its partner Baker Hughes.

Hideo Hama, president of Fluxo, is quite optimistic about the new horizons of sectors such as natural gas, privatization of refineries and networks. pipelines from north to south, the arrival of major global companies in the oil and gas sector - with growing production rates in the country -, without forgetting the opportunities that are arising with the sale of fields onshore and from shallow waters by Petrobras to smaller and more appropriate companies to explore these areas. “The good prospects for the recovery of the economy in the country make us believe that this is the time to invest in a better adjustment of our industrial area”, emphasizes Hideo.

As of January 2020, Fluxo's new industrial headquarters will be open to receive its current and new customers with ample space and adequate conditions, to meet with excellence the growing demand for business to come.
