Larco Modernizes Operations with FLUXO Unloading Skids
Larco, a fuel distributor expanding rapidly in the Northeast, announces the completion of an innovative project that improves the efficiency and safety of its operations. In partnership with FLUXO, a leading company in engineering solutions for industrial automation, Larco has installed three fuel unloading skids at its bases in the cities of Jequié, Luiz Eduardo Magalhães and Juazeiro, in Bahia.
With a maximum flow capacity of 120 m³/h, the skids are prepared to unload all the products required for the operation of these fuel bases. The skids were equipped with a Coriolis flow measurement system, flow control valves, six product outlets and a fuel and air separation vessel, which ensures the pump's service life and reliable flow measurement.
Security and anti-fraud: Larco's priorities
Product safety and quality are priorities for Larco. The skids implemented by FLUXO have an advanced fuel density monitoring system, using Total Health technology from Yokogawa flow meters. They integrate to check the operational alignment of valves and ensure the quality of the fuel being moved in real time. This functionality not only ensures compliance with regulatory standards, but also prevents contamination and adulteration of products moved at the bases, reinforcing the reliability of Larco's operations.
Technology at the service of efficiency
One of the distinguishing features of the implemented system is the automatic sending of emails each time a truck is unloaded. This feature ensures accurate records of operations and facilitates real-time control of the activities of these three Larco bases from the headquarters in Salvador, allowing for more efficient management of the company.
