One of the key factors in improving efficiency in the distribution of fuels and biofuels in Brazil is the diversity of the tanker truck fleet. The lack of standardization in loading nozzles has historically been an obstacle to agility and productivity at terminals, negatively impacting the entire logistics chain. Overcoming this barrier is vital to ensuring efficient flow and meeting growing demand, especially in the North and Northeast regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ultracargo bets on modular technology for expansion at the Port of Itaqui<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Ultracargo - the largest independent liquid bulk storage company in Brazil - is moving forward with the expansion of the Itaqui Terminal (TIQ II), in Maranh\u00e3o, through the construction of a new terminal connected to TIQ I, resulting from the leasing of area IQI13. The initiative represents a strategic step towards improving the movement of liquids essential to regional supply and economic development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To carry out this expansion, the company relied on the expertise of FLUXO, which supplied 28 loading measurement sections and 2 unloading systems for the project. FLUXO's approach stood out for its integration from the design of the layout to the delivery of the systems, with a focus on modular and intelligent solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The innovations applied include the adoption of skids with a central technical corridor, which facilitates maintenance and increases operational safety. FLUXO also developed a hybrid loading system (top\/bottom loading), eliminating bottlenecks and minimizing operating time for different vehicle configurations. Safety was further enhanced with the installation of advanced overflow monitors per compartment. Together, these solutions aim to completely modernize road loading operations at the new terminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
