Fluxo and MTM - Marine Tank Management - a division of Emerson Process Management that includes the brands Damcos, Rosemount Marine, Level Datic and MAS2600 - signed a contract in December 2011 with the CCI Oil & Gas Consortium for the supply of the entire monitoring and control of cargo and ballast tanks on platforms P-58 and P-62.<\/p>\n
The system that will be supplied to the CCI Consortium will be responsible for measuring the level of cargo, waste and settling tanks with Radar gauges, manufactured by Rosemount Marine, and measuring sensors for high level and overflow. For ballast, diesel and water tanks, the measurement will be made by MAS2600 hydrostatic pressure gauges.<\/p>\n
The level system also includes the monitoring panel and signal concentrator integrated into the CCR \u2013 Cargo Control Room, where the workstation and the cargo computer responsible for the ship's stability calculations will be installed.
\nThe other package that will also be supplied by MTM is intended for the remote control of hydraulic valves, and is composed of hydraulic units, solenoid panel, butterfly and ball valves together with Damcos actuators, a company specialized in designing and manufacturing of compact actuators operating for over 50 years in the naval market.<\/p>\n
The P-58 platform will be installed in the Baleia Azul field, in the Esp\u00edrito Santo part of the Campos Basin, and the P-62 platform will be in the Roncador field. The two underwent adaptation of the hull in Singapore and are in the ports of Rio Grande and Recife, respectively, for the phase of integration by the Consortium.<\/p>\n
MTM also participated in the adaptation phase in Singapore and supplied all stainless steel deck boxes, which include solenoids and valve position indicators, in addition to butterfly valves and hydraulic actuators, for Platform P-58 at the Keppel shipyard, which was responsible for this phase of the project.<\/p>\n
The supply for the P-58 and P-62 platforms will contribute to the consolidation of Marine Tank Management's installed base in Brazil, which already has several equipment and systems installed on Petrobras platforms such as: P-18, P-50, P -51, P-52, P-53, P-54, P-55, P-56, P-57 and P-61.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
