At the end of 2010, Fluxo started to integrate the Norwegian company Roxar into its technological package, another international leader in technological solutions for the oil and gas industry. The company is a manufacturer of multiphase flow meters and wet gas for topside, BS&W analyzers, pig detectors, corrosion monitoring, among others.<\/p>\n
Roxar is headquartered in Stavanger, Norway and is the industrial inventor of multiphase flowmeters, sand monitoring and wet gas meters with continuous water metering. It is the world's leading supplier of flow meters as well as well instrumentation and control. With thousands of meters installed worldwide, Roxar has the experience to offer the best possible solution, adaptable to specific field needs and conditions. In 1993, Roxar installed the world's first multiphase meter. In the same year, it introduced the BS&W or water cut analyzer to the market. In 2001, together with a number of large operators, it developed a unique wet gas meter and incorporated it into the growing range of measurement and monitoring solutions it brought to the market.<\/p>\n
Last year, the company was acquired by Emerson Process Management, which signed a representation partnership with Fluxo. Pig Detectors for the P-63<\/strong><\/p>\n The Fluxo and Roxar partnership started off on the right foot: the first supply took place shortly after the representation agreement, a package of 34 pig detectors for the P-63, which kept the supplier of the original P-55 mirror platform.<\/p>\n The Roxar Pig Detector is a non-intrusive, field-mounted instrument that utilizes acoustic noise piping with fluid flow, whether for water, oil, gas or multiphase.
