SBM Offshore selects Fluxo and Metroval for metrological management of platforms in Brazil

The Dutch SBM Offshore, one of the world leaders in production operations on floating platforms, signed a contract with Metroval (a partner company of Fluxo) for the metrological management services of the fiscal measurement stations for its platforms in Brazil for a period of 2 years.

The scope of the contract comprises the provision of services for the implementation of the NBR ISO 10012 quality system, metrological management, instrument calibration and preventive maintenance of the oil and gas measurement systems on the production platforms.

The services will be performed on the seven FPSO (Floating Production Sotorage and Offloading) type platforms operated by SBM in the Santos basin (City of Ilhabela, City of Paraty, City of Saquarema and City of Maricá) and in the Espírito Santo basin (FPSO Capixaba and FPSO Espírito Santo).

Metroval has a highly qualified team, with more than 50 engineers and technicians certified and trained to perform metrological management services, in addition to extensive experience with numerous previous supplies.

Fluxo acts as a partner of Metroval in the Brazilian market, promoting oil & gas measurement services and systems.
